Who I am
I’m Nicole Buckwalter, a freelance graphic designer and editor with over a decade of experience helping businesses sharpen their visuals and words.
My background combines both creative design and precise editing, giving you a single place to bring your materials together.
My background

My love for design and words goes back to childhood, when I spent hours sketching and journaling. That early passion led to formal education, and later through freelance work. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with businesses on everything from logos and brochures to social media campaigns and polished web content.
my creative process
Every project benefits from a clear plan. My process is straightforward and collaborative, keeping things organized while leaving room for creativity. Each step is designed to give you confidence in what’s ahead and to move your project forward with clarity and care — from our first conversation to the final files.
1. Creative brief
We start with a conversation. I’ll gather all the details about your project — goals, audience, must-haves, and any specific preferences. This step ensures I understand your vision before putting pen to paper or design to screen.
2. research + ideas
Next, I dig in. For writing and editing, that means learning your audience, industry standards, and style guidelines. For design, it means exploring inspiration, trends, and practical considerations for your brand. Research helps set the foundation for work that connects.
3. Drafts + revisions
This is where the work comes to life. I’ll create your design or refine your text, then share drafts for your feedback. Together, we’ll fine-tune through revisions until the result feels just right — polished, professional, and on point.
4. Final Work
Once everything is approved, you’ll receive the finished files — ready to publish, share, or print. Clear words, sharp design, and a final product you can feel confident putting out into the world.
